Teenager Found Shot Dead on Tracy Road

A 17-year-old teenager was tragically found shot to death last Friday on a remote road in Tracy, a rural area in California. This unsettling discovery comes just two days after another body was found in a ditch nearby. Over the past two weeks, there have been three bodies found in rural areas of Tracy, with two of them suspected to be homicides.

The body found in the ditch along Tracy Blvd is not believed to be the result of foul play, according to authorities. However, the two recent cases, including the teenager’s death, are suspected to be homicides. The Tracy Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle collision on Sugar Rd. between Tracy Blvd and Holly Dr. on January 12, 2024, at around 6:30 pm. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a male victim inside the vehicle who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 17-year-old David Cantero Valdez from Tracy, CA, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
