**Hyderabad Police Busts Organised Prostitution Gang, Rescues 16 Girls**
In a major operation carried out by the Hyderabad Task Force, a gang involved in organised prostitution was busted at Fortune Hotel in Abids. The police rescued 16 girls and apprehended the prime accused, along with the hotel manager and four customers.
The main accused, Akhilesh Pahelwan, 36, was working in collaboration with the hotel owner, Raghupathi. Acting on Akhilesh’s instructions, Raghupathi managed the customers at the hotel. It has been alleged that Akhilesh has political connections, but the Abids police clarified that his involvement in political events does not necessarily imply any connections.
During the investigation, it was revealed that all 16 girls hail from Kolkata and had arrived in Hyderabad around 10 to 15 days ago. It is suspected that they were lured under the pretext of job opportunities. The police have now shifted the girls to a shelter home for their safety.
The authorities are currently conducting an extensive investigation to uncover the entire network involved in this illicit trade. This incident highlights the need for stringent measures to combat human trafficking and protect vulnerable individuals from falling prey to such criminal activities.
Hyderabad, known as the “City of Pearls,” is the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana. With a rich history and a vibrant culture, the city attracts visitors from all over the world. However, like any other urban center, it also faces its share of challenges, including the presence of criminal networks that exploit innocent individuals.
The Hyderabad Task Force, established to maintain law and order in the city, has been actively working towards curbing such illegal activities. This successful operation is a testament to their dedication and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people.
It is crucial for society as a whole to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. By working together, we can create a safer environment for everyone and put an end to heinous crimes like human trafficking.
Let us stand united against such atrocities and strive for a society where every individual can live a life of dignity and freedom.
