Motorist Fatally Crashes into Tree in Jurupa Valley

A tragic accident in Jurupa Valley has left one motorist dead after crashing into a tree. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene on Saturday at 3:07 p.m. The crash occurred on Mission Boulevard, west of Wineville Avenue.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the vehicle had collided with a tree. Sadly, the driver did not survive the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Anthony Zuniga. However, his city of residence has not been disclosed at this time.

The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, and authorities are still investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role. Mission Boulevard, between Wineville Avenue and Cornerstone Drive, has been temporarily closed to facilitate the investigation.
