According to the Coweta deputies, a call was made to 911 reporting that a man had fired two rounds from inside his vehicle, described as a Ford Mustang. The situation escalated quickly, putting the lives of innocent people at risk.

Fortunately, the Newnan police officers on duty spotted a vehicle matching the description and promptly conducted a traffic stop. The driver, identified as 46-year-old Ryan Michael Ritchey, was immediately detained.

The deputies wasted no time in gathering information from the victim, who provided them with a detailed description of the vehicle and the firearm used in the incident. Acting swiftly, they proceeded to search Ritchey’s vehicle, where they successfully located and retrieved the weapon.
