Jennifer Road Detention Center Inmate Charged with Possession and Distribution of Suboxone in Anne Arundel County
During January 2024, the Anne Arundel County Police Criminal Gang Unit detectives joined forces with the Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities Security Threat Group to crack down on illegal possession and distribution of controlled substances within the detention facility.
As part of their recent investigation, they identified 32-year-old Lamonte De’Andre Henson, an inmate from District Heights, as a suspect.
On January 17, 2024, Henson was detained and thoroughly searched. This search led to the discovery of numerous orange sub-lingual film strips suspected to be Suboxone. Consequently, Henson is now facing various narcotics-related charges, including possession of controlled dangerous substances (excluding cannabis), possession of controlled dangerous substances with the intention to distribute, and possession of contraband within a place of confinement.
Following the seizure, detectives promptly applied for an arrest warrant, which was executed on January 22, 2024.
