Grim Discovery: Murder Investigation Unfolds in Mahiravani

In a shocking turn of events, the Trimbakeshwar police made a grim discovery in Mahiravani on Friday. The lifeless body of Laxman Shankar Jadhav, a 32-year-old resident of Phulenagar, Panchvati, was found, leading to a thorough investigation. The police wasted no time in apprehending a suspect in connection with the case.

According to the investigation, Laxman Jadhav had been staying with relatives in Trimbakeshwar for a few days. On the evening of December 26, he left around 8 pm, walking towards Nashik. The suspect, identified as Nilesh Suresh Nande, a 24-year-old resident of Dhamanshet, district Mokhada, Palghar, worked as an employee at the Sai Plaza Hotel and Lodge on the highway.

Reports suggest that a confrontation between the two ensued, allegedly triggered by Laxman’s recent firing from his job at the hotel. In a fit of rage, Nilesh Nande attacked Laxman with a sharp weapon, resulting in a fatal outcome. In an attempt to cover up the crime, Nande disposed of Laxman’s body in Mahiravani.

The Trimbakeshwar police, under the leadership of Inspector Bipin Shewale and Sub-Inspector Prabhakar Pawar, conducted a commendable investigation. The team, consisting of Mohit More, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ashok Bodke, Havaldar Shantaram Nimbekar, Jeevan Jadhav, Shravan Salve, and Bharat Bhavle, worked diligently under the guidance of their seniors to bring the case to light.

Tragic accident Claims Young Life

In another unfortunate incident, a 26-year-old bike rider lost his life in a collision with a speeding four-wheeler in the truck terminal area of the highway. The victim has been identified as Vinayak Chintaman Gosavi, a resident of Dattanagar in Nashik.

The incident occurred last Sunday when Gosavi was riding his two-wheeler on the highway near Adgaon Shivar. The collision with a four-wheeler bearing registration MH12 KY 7343 took place in front of the truck terminal, resulting in Gosavi sustaining severe injuries, which ultimately led to his untimely death.

The Adgaon police station has registered an accident case in connection with this tragic incident. Roshan Bawa (Gosavi) filed a complaint, leading to a case against the driver of the four-wheeler. The ongoing investigation is being carried out by the Adgaon police.

These incidents highlight the need for increased vigilance and safety measures on our roads. Authorities are working diligently to bring justice to the victims and their families.
