Police in Budgam arrest 2 gamblers and seize stake money

Police in Budgam have arrested two gamblers and confiscated their stake money. The arrests were made following specific information about gambling activities near Salsabeel School Humhama. The police party, led by IC PP Humhama, conducted a raid at the gambling site and apprehended two individuals identified as Firdous Ali Pandit and Farooq Ahmed Dar.

Firdous Ali Pandit resides in Ustad Mohalla Budgam, while Farooq Ahmed Dar is a resident of Banpora Humhama. Upon searching the gamblers, the officers found Rs 5000 in stake money and a deck of playing cards in their possession. As a result, a case has been registered at Police Station Budgam and an investigation is underway.
