Jared Bartley Doyle : “Tragic Pitkin Man Crash in Allen Parish”

A Pitkin resident tragically lost his life after crashing his pickup truck into a tree on La. 377 in Allen Parish. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, just before 6:15 a.m., as reported by Louisiana State Police. The victim was identified as 36-year-old Jared Bartley Doyle.

According to LSP Troop D spokesman Derek Senegal, Doyle was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup truck heading northbound on La. 377, approximately 2.5 miles north of La. 112. Unfortunately, he veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree, resulting in the fatal accident.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated by authorities. It was noted that Doyle was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, which may have contributed to the severity of the outcome.

The location of the crash, La. 377 in Allen Parish, is a rural area known for its winding roads and scenic views. The community of Pitkin, where Doyle resided, is a close-knit town where residents are deeply saddened by the loss of one of their own.
