Jesus Dominguez : “Missing Pueblo Children Identified in Metal Container”

In a heartbreaking discovery, the Pueblo Police Department revealed that the remains found in a metal container filled with concrete and a suitcase belonged to two children who were last seen in the summer of 2018. The investigation began on January 20th when officers were alerted to a storage unit on West 6th Street, where the container was found. Two days later, the body of a young girl was discovered inside.

**Two Missing Children**

The police department identified the missing children as Jesus Dominguez, Jr. and Yesenia Dominguez, who had not been seen since the summer of 2018 and were never reported missing. Authorities interviewed two persons of interest in the case, Jesus Dominguez, 35, and Corena Rose Minjarez, 36. Dominguez was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant, while Minjarez’s vehicle was located at a local scrapyard.

**Tragic Revelations**

During the investigation, a suitcase containing the remains of a young boy was found in the trunk of Minjarez’s vehicle. DNA testing confirmed that the bodies belonged to Yesenia and Jesus, Jr. The deaths are being treated as homicides, and arrest warrants were issued for Minjarez and Dominguez on charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Dominguez also faces an additional charge of theft of government benefits.

**Ongoing Search**

As the investigation continues, authorities are still searching for Dominguez. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Pueblo Police Department. Minjarez has been arrested and booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on a $2 million bond.
