Celie Montgomery : “UCCS Double Homicide Victims Identified”

In a tragic incident that shook the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs campus, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has revealed the identities of the two individuals who lost their lives. The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Celie (See-Lee) Rain Montgomery from Pueblo, Colorado, and 24-year-old Samuel Knopp from Parker, Colorado.

The CSPD disclosed that the El Paso County Coroner’s Office conducted autopsies on Celie and Samuel, who were discovered deceased inside a dormitory on the UCCS campus. The authorities have classified their deaths as homicides and are actively investigating the case.

Samuel Knopp was a registered student at UCCS at the time of his death, while Celie Montgomery was not enrolled in any courses at the university. The police have emphasized that the incident appears to be isolated and not a random attack targeting the school or other students.

In a statement released by the CSPD, Public Relations Manager Ira Cronin highlighted the department’s commitment to seeking justice for the victims and their families. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives working tirelessly to gather more information and leads on potential suspects. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, limited details are being shared with the public to protect the integrity of the investigation.

The families of Celie and Samuel have requested privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. The UCCS Police Department is working in collaboration with the CSPD to ensure the safety of the campus community. The authorities urge the public to refrain from contacting the grieving families during this difficult time.
