Darshan : “4 Men Arrested for Friend’s Murder: Shocking Incident”

A 22-year-old cab driver named Darshan met a tragic end near his grandparents’ home in Huligondi Village, Chikkamagaluru. The young man was brutally murdered by four individuals who harbored a grudge against him stemming from a previous altercation. Reports indicate that the conflict began at a party in Bengaluru, where Darshan allegedly insulted the mother of one of his acquaintances.

The police investigation uncovered that both Darshan and his assailants had a history of involvement in a case of attempted murder that was registered at the RR Nagar Police Station. Despite their past legal troubles, the group had reunited for a celebration in Bengaluru following their release on bail.

On the fateful night of February 15, Darshan had been staying with two friends at his grandparents’ residence. Two additional acquaintances joined them, leading to a vicious attack on Darshan with sharp weapons. Before leaving the house, Darshan had informed his grandfather that he was going out with friends.

Following the brutal incident, a murder case was filed at the Kadur Police Station, resulting in the arrest of the four individuals involved in Darshan’s untimely death – Manoj, Koushik, Kiran, and Raju.
