Arrests Made in Manchester Car Theft Spree: Xzhavier Archibald and Janya Artis Charged

Two individuals have been apprehended by police in Manchester, Connecticut for their involvement in a series of car thefts. The stolen vehicles were recovered between the months of July and August, all of which were taken from different parts of the state. Interestingly, these vehicles were spotted in the same vicinity along Center Street.

After a thorough investigation, authorities were able to link 18-year-old Xzhavier Archibald from Hartford and 18-year-old Janya Artis from Manchester to five stolen vehicles in the area. The pair were subsequently arrested while they were under surveillance.

Janya Artis is facing multiple charges, including three counts of motor vehicle theft, three counts of conspiring to commit motor vehicle theft, two counts of first-degree criminal trover, larceny, two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, and illegal use of a payment card.

On the other hand, Xzhavier Archibald is being charged with two counts of motor vehicle theft, three counts of conspiring to commit motor vehicle theft, two counts of criminal trover, conspiring to commit criminal trover, conspiring to commit larceny, two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, and illegal use of a payment card.
