In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 21-year-old man lost his life in a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday afternoon near the Georgia State University campus in Downtown Atlanta. The victim, who was not a student according to GSU officials, was tragically killed in the incident.

The shooting took place at 120 Piedmont Avenue NE, which is home to The Mix apartments, located near the RaceTrac gas station. Unfortunately, this area has seen previous incidents of violence, making it a concerning hotspot for such tragic events.
