Suspect Identified in Theft of Firearms from Downtown Storage Locker

Police have made progress in an ongoing investigation into the theft of firearms and other items from a storage locker in downtown Toronto. One suspect has been identified, while authorities are still searching for another individual involved in the crime.

According to Constable Shannon Eames, the first suspect was observed entering and leaving the underground parking lot multiple times. At one point, a second man accompanied him to the garage. During this period, several items were stolen from the storage locker, including two firearms.

The stolen weapons have been identified as a Winchester Model 94 carbine and a .22-calibre pump-action Remington. Authorities are deeply concerned about the theft of these firearms, as they pose a significant risk to public safety.

The first suspect, Christopher Pouliot, 39, hails from Toronto. He is wanted on charges of breaking and entering, as well as the theft of a firearm and additional offenses. Pouliot is described as 5-foot-9, weighing 155 pounds, with a medium build, short brown hair, and hazel eyes.

In addition to Pouliot, there is another suspect who remains unidentified. This individual was captured on surveillance footage wearing dark pants, dark boots, a dark tuque, and a camouflage jacket. Notably, the suspect was also carrying a bright red backpack adorned with yellow cartoon characters.

The Toronto Police have released images of the suspects in the hope that the public may recognize and provide information about their whereabouts. The police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in solving this case.
