One Dead, One Injured in Grant County Crash

One person has tragically lost their life and another has been injured following a single-vehicle crash in Grant County on Saturday. The incident occurred on the 2400 block of CR 600 East at around 5:25 a.m., prompting a response from deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two individuals who had sustained injuries. Both were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the driver, identified as 34-year-old Glenn Allan Bradley from Upland, was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.

The passenger, 32-year-old Robert Kyle Cornell from Hartford City, received medical attention for his injuries and was subsequently released from the hospital.

Preliminary investigations into the incident suggest that the crash occurred when the 2000 Chevrolet Truck veered off the roadway and collided with a utility pole. Authorities believe that inclement weather conditions may have played a role in the tragic accident.
