The Tontitown Police Department, in collaboration with other agencies in the region, is conducting an investigation following a raid at a massage parlor on Henri de Tonti Boulevard in Tontitown, Arkansas. Authorities believe there may be additional establishments similar to the one that was raided.
Detective Keith Lindley of the Tontitown police revealed that they have discovered direct correspondence between the raided location and other establishments. Through surveillance, they have observed individuals who have been identified as employees of the parlor going directly from one location to another.
During the operation on Friday, a 61-year-old woman was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution in the second degree. Police anticipate that more arrests will be made in connection with the case.
Detective Lindley expressed his hope to establish contact with two individuals who are strongly believed to have involvement in the illegal activities. He aims to have a conversation with them to determine the veracity of their suspicions.
Authorities are also considering the possibility of sex trafficking being a factor in the ongoing investigation. Detective Lindley remarked that it is unfortunately common for sex workers in the United States, not just in Tontitown, Arkansas, to fall victim to human trafficking.
The arrested woman is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center, with her bond set at $10,000.
