William Bradley Runion : “911 call leads to firearm possession charge in Manassas”

Manassas City Police were called to a residence on Bruton Parish Court in response to a 911 hang-up call on February 9, 2024, at around 7:50 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a group of individuals who were attempting to flee the scene. However, their escape was foiled when one of them was seen discarding a firearm underneath a nearby vehicle. Law enforcement promptly detained the individual responsible.

The suspect, identified as 28-year-old William Bradley Runion, was found to be a convicted felon during the subsequent investigation. As a result, a search was conducted, which led to the discovery of a suspected schedule I/II controlled substance in his possession. Runion was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.

The charges against Runion include felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, reckless handling of a firearm, and carrying a firearm while in possession of schedule I/II substances, according to the police.
