German Reyes Ramos : “Anaheim Man Arrested for Luring Boy”

A man was apprehended by Anaheim authorities for allegedly attempting to lure a young boy into his vehicle. The suspect, identified as German Reyes Ramos, 46, was arrested following an incident on Feb. 13 on the 2900 block of West Orange Street around 9:30 a.m.

The victim, a 12-year-old boy, reported that a man driving a tan-colored SUV approached him and offered a ride while holding a wad of cash. Fortunately, the boy managed to escape and promptly contacted the police.

After an investigation, detectives pinpointed Reyes Ramos as the suspect and took him into custody on Feb. 20 in Anaheim. He was driving a tan 2002 Dodge Durango SUV at the time of his arrest, believed to be the same vehicle involved in the attempted abduction.

Authorities suspect that Reyes Ramos may have targeted other juvenile victims in Anaheim and are urging anyone with information to come forward. He is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Reyes Ramos faces charges of contacting a minor for felonious purposes and is currently held on $300,000 bail. Despite ongoing investigations, his booking photo has not been released to the public.
