Palm Harbor, Florida – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies are currently conducting a death investigation after the body of a missing elderly man was discovered in Lake St. George on Saturday. The incident took place following a request from the Clearwater Police Department for assistance in searching for the missing individual.
The missing man, identified as 85-year-old Clouster Bryant, was reported missing by the Clearwater Police Department after he failed to return home from a fishing trip at Lake St. George, a location he frequently visited. In response, deputies immediately initiated a search operation.
During the search, deputies located Bryant’s pick-up truck at the north boat ramp of Lake St. George. Additionally, they discovered a capsized John Boat on the south side of the lake. Tragically, a body found next to the boat has been identified as Bryant.
