An 85-year-old man from Clearwater, Florida was discovered dead in a lake after he failed to return home from a fishing trip, according to local authorities. The tragic incident occurred in Palm Harbor, a picturesque community located in Pinellas County.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office was called in to assist the Clearwater Police Department in the search for Clouster Bryant. Officials revealed that Bryant frequently visited Lake St. George for his fishing excursions. On Friday evening, around 7 p.m., deputies responded to the scene and focused their efforts on the north boat ramp of the lake. It was there that they located Bryant’s pick-up truck, raising concerns about his whereabouts.

In an effort to intensify the search, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit and Flight Unit were deployed. Their combined efforts led them to a startling discovery—a small John Boat that had capsized on the south side of the lake. Tragically, next to the overturned boat, authorities found the lifeless body of Clouster Bryant.

Investigators noted that Bryant was wearing a life jacket, and his fishing equipment was found nearby. Despite a thorough examination of the scene, there were no apparent signs of recent damage to the boat, leading officials to believe that the incident was not criminal in nature.
