The Ventersburg police are currently searching for a truck driver who is believed to have shot a 19-year-old suspect after his truck was robbed. The incident occurred on Saturday, January 20th, at a truck stop in Ventersburg, a small town located in the Free State province of South Africa.

Upon receiving information about a shooting incident, the police quickly arrived at the scene to find the lifeless body of a man lying on the N1-road. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound at the back of his neck. Witnesses at the scene reported that three individuals had robbed the truck, prompting the truck driver to confront them.

In the ensuing confrontation, three shots were fired, one of which struck the alleged thief, resulting in his death. The other two suspects managed to flee the scene with stolen hair pieces. However, during their escape, they dropped several items on the ground, including a bag full of hair pieces, which were later seized by the police.
