Phelan, Calif. – A devastating traffic collision in Phelan has left two young girls dead. The victims have been identified as 13-year-old Gulliana Puentes and 1-year-old Analia Puentes. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Phelan and Nevada Road.

According to authorities, the girls were riding in the backseat of a Toyota Camry driven by Alexander Puentes. The Camry was traveling westbound on Phelan Road and had slowed down to make a left turn onto Nevada Road. Suddenly, a white Ecoline Ford Van crashed into the rear of the Camry for unknown reasons.

Tragically, Gulliana and Analia were pronounced dead at the scene. Alexander and another passenger sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the van escaped unharmed.
