Ariel Cintron : “Man Arrested Stalking Girl Walking Dog”

A man from Springfield, MA, has been arrested in Enfield, Conn., after allegedly following a young girl home and kissing her hand while she was out walking her dog. The incident occurred on Gatewood Drive, where police were called after the man approached the girl and engaged her in conversation about dogs.

The man, identified as Ariel Cintron, reportedly asked to shake the girl’s hand and then kissed it, before following her home. Fortunately, some Good Samaritans saw what was happening and intervened, bringing the girl into their home to keep her safe from the suspect.

An off-duty officer confronted Cintron, who then fled the scene. After a foot pursuit through the complex, he was apprehended by police. During his arrest, Cintron was found to be in possession of an electronic defense weapon.

Cintron has been charged with third-degree stalking, criminal possession of a firearm or electronic device, and other offenses. The incident has left the community shocked and concerned about the safety of residents, especially young girls out alone.

Authorities are reminding the public to always be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. It’s important to stay vigilant and look out for one another, especially in situations where someone may feel threatened or uncomfortable.
