# Wheeling Man Identified as Victim in Round Lake Three-Vehicle Crash

A tragic three-vehicle crash that occurred on January 16 in Round Lake has claimed the life of a Wheeling man. The accident took place at the intersection of Route 60 and Bacon Road, prompting the Round Lake police to respond to the scene.

According to a news release from the Lake County Coroner’s Office, the Round Lake police officers were dispatched at approximately 8:14 a.m. in response to the traffic collision. Upon arrival, officers discovered that multiple individuals were trapped inside their vehicles, with one driver unresponsive.

Given the severity of the crash, the Major Crash Assistance Team of Lake County was called upon to conduct a thorough investigation. All three drivers involved in the incident were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Tragically, the emergency room at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville pronounced a 47-year-old Wheeling man deceased. The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Wojciech Jaworski. An autopsy conducted at the Coroner’s Office confirmed that Jaworski succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
