Corena Rose Minjarez : “Missing Children Case: Arrests Made, Remains Found in Pueblo Storage | Crime & Justice”

A heartbreaking tragedy has unfolded in Pueblo, where the remains of two young children have been discovered, leading to the identification of suspects in their homicides. The investigation kicked off when authorities found the body of a young girl, Yesenia Dominguez, inside a metal container at a storage facility on West Sixth Street in Pueblo. The girl’s remains were encased in concrete within the container and were identified through DNA testing.

The young girl and another child, Jesus Dominguez Jr., had been missing since 2018, but no missing person report had been filed for them. Yesenia was only 3 years old at the time of her disappearance, while Jesus was 5. Pueblo police have named Corena Rose Minjarez, 36, and Jesus Dominguez, 35, as persons of interest in the case. Prior to their identification, police were informed that the children were in Arizona, but this lead turned out to be fruitless.

Tragically, the remains of Dominguez Jr. were also found in a vehicle belonging to Minjarez at a Pueblo scrap yard. The boy’s body was discovered in a suitcase inside the car. Subsequently, warrants were issued for first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse against Minjarez and Dominguez. Minjarez has been arrested and is currently held at the Pueblo County Detention Center on a $2 million bond, while Dominguez has also been taken into custody.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the case to reach out to Pueblo police dispatch or Detective Nicholas Lile. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Pueblo Crime Stoppers. This devastating incident has shaken the community, and justice must be served for these innocent children.
