In a significant development, authorities recently uncovered millions of dollars worth of stolen goods in a massive bust in Riverside County. The operation, which spanned multiple states, targeted a crime ring involved in organized retail crime and trailer cargo theft. Two suspects, identified as Amritpal Singh, 24, and Jagdeep Singh, 24, were apprehended by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The breakthrough came on Feb. 6 when deputies executed a search warrant at a retail store on East Florida Avenue in Hemet. During the search, law enforcement officers stumbled upon over 200 pallets of stolen merchandise stashed in a warehouse storage area. The recovered items ranged from high-end electronics and computer equipment to baby essentials and toiletries, as depicted in photos from the scene.

The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to exceed $1.5 million, according to LASD. Among the stolen items were flat-screen televisions, coffee makers, vacuums, baby carriers, highchairs, and more. Additionally, a stolen semi-truck and trailer were located on the premises and believed to have been used in the thefts. The suspects were taken into custody on charges of grand theft and possession of stolen property.

LASD officials have assured the public that efforts are underway to identify all stolen property and return it to its rightful owners. The investigation into the crime ring and the stolen goods remains ongoing. Individuals with information pertaining to the case are urged to contact Deputy Brian Keeney at Moreno Valley Station at 951-486-6700.
